I won't hear a word said against the Hill, Soldo! I loved the fact that one of the most iconic cricket grounds in the world, was a hill rather than a stand. I spent many a happy day on that hill every summer for nine years, one of only a few Poms amongst a sea of Aussies. I always found that if you gave as good as you got, you'd have a good time.

Mind you, I fell asleep in that murderous sun once, after a dozen or so of too many tinnies of Tooheys, with my balls hangin out of my board shorts, and got then burned. Never thought to slap some factor 50 on the old boy. Fuck my old boots, that was painful for the next couple of days!

Thank God the cricket starts today
Nothing more boring than all the preseries BANTZ

England have won 11 of 13 Tests & Australia haven't won a series in England since 2001.
Yet Westside reckons they should be embarrassed if they dont win
Thought all this defeatist Barmy Army crap had finished
As then its just a pretence
Both teams know they have a good chance and expect to win
Enjoy the cricket

Creating Mad Max as some sort of weird dystopia when it was very close to realife in the outback…..

So looking forward to this, haven't got a clue what will happen, hopefully not a Harmison moment with the first ball if we're bowling!

I've got a nasty feeling we'll lose the 1st test.

Batting first. This will either go very well, or very badly....

Probably set the tone for the whole series.

Working from home comes into it's own once again. Getting paid to watch sport, magic.

Crawley whacks first ball for 4. He’ll be lucky to make double figures.

Listening to Ponting's squeaky fucking joyless commentary makes me miss Warne as co-commentator.

Vexed you can't beat Richie Benaud for an unbiased view of cricket. May he RIP.

Going back in time it was John Arlott and Johnners for me.

I'm also WFH today because I fecked up my knee by trying to chuck myself about and run like I did as a 25 year old when my joints are 55 years old. Prat. Unfortunately I don't dare listen to TMS, or I'll get no work done.

They've just mentioned about Steve Sandpaper Smith pretty much captains the side.

It's impossible for me to hear his name and not think of this:
